How We Make Money

Points Mafia operates on affiliate commissions. When you apply for a credit card through one of our links and are approved, we may earn a commission from the card issuer or affiliate network.

This comes at no cost to you. You get the same card, the same signup bonus, and the same terms whether you use our link or go directly to the issuer's website.

Our Commitment to Honesty

We believe most credit card content is designed to sell you cards, not educate you. We flip that.

Here's how we stay honest:

  • Rankings are math-based, not commission-based. We recommend cards based on value, not payout.
  • We disclose affiliate relationships clearly. Every affiliate link is marked, and we're transparent about how we earn.
  • We only recommend cards we'd carry ourselves. If we wouldn't use it, we won't recommend it.
  • We tell you when NOT to get a card. Sometimes the best advice is to wait, or skip a card entirely.
