About Points Mafia

Points Mafia is your insider guide to credit card points, miles, and travel rewards — without the affiliate hype.

Our Mission

We believe most credit card content is designed to sell you cards, not educate you. We flip that. Our rankings are honest first. Every recommendation is backed by math, not commission rates.

We use affiliate links — because this newsletter needs to pay for itself — but we only recommend cards we'd carry ourselves.

What We Do

• Weekly Newsletter: Practical credit card strategy, signup bonus alerts, and transfer partner tips delivered to your inbox.
• Free Tools: Calculators and reference guides to help you make smarter decisions about points and miles.
• Card Reviews: Honest, in-depth reviews of premium travel cards — the good, the bad, and the math.

Who We Are

Points Mafia is run by Austin Christensen, a points optimizer who's been in the credit card game for years. Austin writes every newsletter, builds every tool, and personally tests every strategy before we recommend it.

Our Values

• Honesty over commission: We recommend cards based on value, not payout.
• Math over hype: Every strategy is backed by numbers.
• No gatekeeping: Credit card points shouldn't be locked behind paywalls or exclusive communities.
